CustOMER Privacy is vitally important to us.

Here are a few general points of principle that we'd like to make clear:

¶ Personal Information Does Not Travel Outside REMO World

We regard the relationship between General Store and CustOMER to be absolutely private and sacred. For this reason we would never share, rent, sell or divulge your personal information to any individual or organisation outside the REMO General Store.

¶ All Community Involvement is Voluntary

The true essence of REMO is the collective intelligence and passion of its CustOMERs. The feeling is that the exclusive access to a global community of like-minded people will be as valuable to any member of that community as access to the portfolio of merchandise around which that community has gathered and focused. Therefore, the more that you publicly contribute (in terms of ideas, thoughts & opinions) ~ the more that everyone in the community benefits. Having said this, we also respect that many of you will prefer to remain anonymous. (Hey, some people just want to buy the merchandise.) And that's fine too because at the REMO General Store ~ EVERYTHING IS VOLUNTARY.

¶ Your Identity

We protect your privacy by keeping your email address hidden from view at all times. What you're willing to voluntarily reveal to others (including your name) inside or outside the CustOMER network is completely up to you. Only fellow CustOMERs will be able to send you notes. The notes travel through our servers and get relayed to you via email, thereby preserving your privacy. Upon receipt you can decide whether or not to respond directly to the sender. Only if you respond, will your email address become visible to the sender.

¶ CustOMERs in Control

We firmly believe that our CustOMERs, as volunteers of their personal information, should have the power to easily access and edit this information at any time. Do that here.

Finally, (and as much as we hope this never happens), our CustOMERs are free at any time to notify us of a decision to resign their membership of our CustOMER community, in which case we would purge all of the relevant personal information from the community website.
