Finally!

In October 2006 we approached you CustOMERs with a challenge. See the relevant Weekly Update HERE. REMO Cards had consistently scored near the top of the list of the most requested return REMO merchandise. (Revisit that list HERE.) So, we'd been keen to bring them back in a new and improved format for a very long time.

We tried for a while to do a deal with a third party publisher and distributor, but ultimately we decided to self publish. (Patience is not one of our virtues.)

Then we faced the challenge of deciding what to actually put on the cards. REMO has been accumulating intellectual property for almost 20 years. So, we had literally hundreds of ideas, but room for only 10 in the first print run. We created a poll and once again asked CustOMERs what designs they would like to be able to order on REMO Cards. Votes poured in. See the results HERE.

Lastly, we had to decide what kind of envelope to include with the greeting card. (See that CustOMER Poll HERE.) A regular white envelope is 90gsm in weight. Does the job. The alternative is a special customised envelope: 150gsm matt art white, printed royal blue on the inside, embossed with our brand on the flap (God is in the details) ... BUT this is an expensive exercise, and theoretically we would need to be charging at least $1 or $2 more for the single card and envelope sets.

As you can see if you go to the envelope poll, most of you (55%) were keen for us to go all out with the deluxe package, but a significant number of you (45%) were not that fussed about the quality of the envelope, feeling that the enclosed card was all that really mattered, and that a lower price would be the go.

It's hard to choose. So, what we've decided to do is MAKE YOU ALL HAPPY!

We've gone for all of the bells and whistles: FSC-certified plantation pulp card stock, customised envelope (printed inside, embossed, gorgeous) ... AND we've kept the price down to the lower end of our range.

AND, we've also produced a range of REMO Gift Cards ... small and cute. Stick them on the outside of all of your gifts.

REMO Cards are unique. They will stick out like reindeer balls on this year's trees, mantle pieces & venetian blinds!
